Thank you for choosing Grooming Dog Wash. By booking an appointment or using our services, you, as the client, agree to the following policies, fees, waiver, release of liability, and agreement.
These policies, fees, waiver, release of liability, and agreement are subject to change at any time. The current version posted by Grooming Dog Wash applies to all appointments booked or services provided after the updated version is posted.
Clients must fully disclose any known history of aggression, biting, extreme anxiety, fear of grooming, fear of bathing, unsafe behavior, or behavioral issues related to grooming, bathing, drying, brushing, nail trimming, handling, strangers, staff, or other animals.
Failure to disclose this information may lead to injury and may result in denial of service, extra handling fees, refusal of future appointments, or immediate termination of the appointment.
Grooming Dog Wash does not accept dogs that require sedation or harsh restraint. Exceptions may be made only with prior written approval and a signed behavioral waiver.
Clients who fail to disclose aggressive, unsafe, anxious, difficult, or unpredictable behavior assume full responsibility for any resulting harm, injury, damage, veterinary cost, staff injury, equipment damage, or other cost.
Pet grooming, bathing, drying, brushing, nail trimming, handling, and related services carry inherent risks, especially with matted coats, sensitive skin, elderly pets, puppies, medical conditions, anxiety, difficult behavior, product sensitivity, or sudden movement.
These risks include, but are not limited to:
By using our services, clients understand and accept these risks. Clients also understand that Grooming Dog Wash will act in the best interest of the pet’s safety and comfort.
If a pet is injured, irritated, stressed, or appears unwell during any service, staff may apply basic first aid, including cleaning, disinfecting, pressure, bandaging, or medical adhesive such as VetBond.
In case of a more serious concern, the client will be informed as soon as reasonably possible. The client is responsible for seeking veterinary care if desired or needed.
The client is solely responsible for all veterinary bills, medical bills, medication costs, follow-up care, transportation costs, emergency care costs, and related expenses.
This includes veterinary expenses related to eye irritation, eye injury, corneal abrasions, corneal ulcers, discharge, or other eye conditions.
Grooming Dog Wash does not agree to pay, reimburse, or cover veterinary bills, medical expenses, medication costs, emergency care, follow-up care, transportation costs, or related expenses. This includes bills or expenses claimed to arise before, during, or after any service.
Clients understand that matted, tangled, compacted, dirty, neglected, or poorly maintained coats increase the risk of irritation, cuts, nicks, abrasions, bruising, hematomas, sores, infection, discomfort, and other skin or health issues.
Clients understand that matting can hide pre-existing skin problems, wounds, infections, parasites, bruising, irritation, or other conditions that may only become visible after grooming, bathing, drying, brushing, or handling.
Grooming Dog Wash is not responsible for any condition caused by, worsened by, discovered, or revealed by matting, coat condition, skin sensitivity, pre-existing conditions, or the removal of matted coat.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, clients agree to release and hold harmless Grooming Dog Wash, including its owners, employees, groomers, bathers, contractors, agents, affiliates, and representatives, from liability for injuries, damages, costs, expenses, claims, or losses connected to grooming, bathing, drying, brushing, handling, nail trimming, products, equipment, matting, behavior, medical conditions, skin sensitivity, eye conditions, ear conditions, or sudden movement.
This release includes, but is not limited to:
To the fullest extent permitted by law, any compensation, refund, credit, reimbursement, settlement, or payment from Grooming Dog Wash shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the client for the service at issue.
Grooming Dog Wash will not be responsible for veterinary bills, medical bills, medication costs, follow-up care, emergency care, transportation costs, lost time, lost wages, emotional distress, consequential damages, incidental damages, special damages, punitive damages, or any amount above the price paid for the service at issue.
Any refund, credit, reimbursement, discount, settlement, payment, or other assistance provided by Grooming Dog Wash is voluntary, provided solely as a goodwill gesture, and shall not be construed as an admission of fault, negligence, liability, wrongdoing, or responsibility.
By booking an appointment or using our services, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these policies, fees, waiver, release of liability, and agreement.
The client acknowledges that Grooming Dog Wash services carry risks and agrees not to hold Grooming Dog Wash liable beyond what is outlined in this agreement.
By booking or using our services, the client agrees that the maximum compensation available, if any, is limited to the amount paid for the service at issue, and that Grooming Dog Wash does not cover veterinary bills or medical expenses.
